Carly Rae Jepsen Everywhere You Look The Fuller House Theme Lyrics

house theme song

The absence of lyrics allows each viewer to interpret the music in their own way, making it a truly unique and captivating piece of television history. Formed in 1988, Massive Attack are one of the more popular bands to come out of what was initially dubbed the "Bristol scene," forming from the remnants of a loose collective of DJs known as the Wild Bunch. Composed of Robert "3D" Del Naja, Grant "Daddy G" Marshall, Andrew "Mushroom" Vowles, and Adrian "Tricky" Thaws, the group developed its sound by fusing elements of anything that would stick — reggae, punk, rap, R&B, anything was fair game — over lo-fi, ambient soundscapes anchored by dark, plodding rhythms. While the band would often reject the label in their early days, they're widely acknowledged to be among the early pioneers of trip-hop — a genre that grew to include bands like Portishead and Earthling, and which would eventually seep into the work of such artists as DJ Shadow, Sneaker Pimps, Flaming Lips, and Gorillaz. Cory in the House was an American television sitcom that aired on the Disney Channel from January 12, 2007 to September 13, 2009. The show was nominated for numerous awards, including four Image Awards, three Young Actor Awards, and one NAMIC Vision Award.

Genius is the world’s biggest collection of song lyrics and musical knowledge

I think it would be a shame to not be singing that song… I got to work with the guy who wrote the song and it’s just a little bit more stripped-down. We made a point of not going too pop with it, and, if anything, kind of pulling back from that. Furthermore, the House M.d. Theme Song evokes a sense of loneliness and isolation, mirroring House’s own struggles with chronic pain and his difficult relationships with those around him. The choice of instruments and the somber tone of the music effectively convey the underlying sadness and turmoil that exists within the show’s protagonist.

Popular songs from the entire series

For the theme song to the 2016 Full House spin-off series, Fuller House, Carly Rae Jepsen covers that of the original ‘90’s series—originally performed by Jesse Frederick—adding a subtle modern pop feel to it. A favorite among viewers, “House MD” combines compelling medical cases with the personal struggles of its characters. Dr. House’s unique and complex personality, as well as the show’s clever writing, made it a hit that kept audiences hooked for eight thrilling seasons on Fox. “House MD,” also known simply as “House,” is a medical drama with elements of comedy. The show follows the brilliant but unconventional Dr. Gregory House, who leads a team of doctors to solve complex medical cases at a teaching hospital. He often uses unorthodox methods to diagnose patients, making the show full of intriguing medical mysteries and witty humor.

House M.d. Theme Song Lyrics

As a fan of the show, I have spent hours dissecting the lyrics and trying to understand the deeper meaning behind the House M.d. Theme Song. While the absence of lyrical content makes it challenging, I believe the song conveys a sense of darkness and complexity that aligns with the show’s central theme of solving intricate medical cases. According to The Guardian, Fraser had struck out on her own after Cocteau Twins broke up in 1997, in no small part due to the strained relationship between the singer and the band's guitarist Robin Guthrie, her longtime partner and the father of her child. For a short time, she dated singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley; after hearing his 1994 album Grace, Fraser had become infatuated with his voice, and the feeling was mutual. The pair even recorded a duet, "All Flowers in Time Bend Toward the Sun," which was never officially released.

Fraser, who had lost touch with Buckley due to his constant touring, received the news as she was in the middle of composing the lyrics to "Teardrop." House is one of the more memorable television characters of the twenty-first century thanks to Laurie, a veteran British actor who managed to imbue him with a humanity that belied his sarcastic, confrontational disposition, not to mention a uniquely American cockiness. It's a performance that continues to resonate through popular culture; it's easy to see, for example, shades of Dr. House in Benedict Cumberbatch's performance as Doctor Strange in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In conclusion, the House M.d. Theme Song by Jon Ehrlich holds tremendous significance for fans of the show. Its introspective and mysterious composition adds depth to the series and serves as a powerful symbol of House’s relentless pursuit of truth.

Songs by Season

Driven by his brilliance and unconventional methods, House constantly seeks the truth and solves puzzles that others cannot unravel. The haunting melody of the theme song captures House’s relentless pursuit of answers and his unwavering determination to challenge the status quo. "His career was everything to him, and I wish I had been more understanding — happy with a different kind of relationship. I missed out on something there, and it was my fault." The song’s haunting and melodic sound perfectly matches the enigmatic and thought-provoking nature of the show. On May 29, 1997, the singer decided to take a late-night dip in the Mississippi River, a sojourn which tragically ended in his drowning.

My Experience on the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collections Evrima

ritz carlton cruise review

Comfy seating areas abound where you can grab a drink and chat with newfound friends. This deck is especially atmospheric at night with accent lighting that creates a beautiful blue glow. Even if you don't plan to get in the water, The Marina is an ideal spot to spend a sunny day. On Evrima, the deck attractions focus on the great outdoors. The aft Marina will wow anyone that loves watching the waves and jumping into the water to enjoy snorkeling or paddleboarding. Here's what you can expect on the deck of the Ritz-Carlton yachts.

CardMatch

We had dinner here the first night, and it was very good, but it’s all indoor seating and we didn’t return. Had we been on a longer cruise we definitely would have gone back. The Pool House – the most casual restaurant on the yacht overlooking the main pool. The taco trio is delicious and my favorite thing on the menu … that I ordered on repeat. With more than 250 service staff and crew, Evrima has a high crew-to-guest ratio.

Two Terrace Suites are ADA-compliant (adhering to standards set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act). According to Ritz-Carlton, this person "is your single onboard touchpoint to ensure a flawless, seamless journey from beginning to end." Upon arrival at your suite, a chilled bottle of Moët et Chandon (Grande Marque Champagne, Brut Imperial, Non-Vintage, according to a publicist we spoke to) will greet you.

Review of Ritz-Carlton Evrima

We didn’t have a reservation which caused a moment of anxiety, but we were early and managed to snag one of the best tables in this totally enchanting location. I ordered a Painkiller, Jim a sparkling rose and we settled in for another delicious lunch. After lunch we took a walk down the beach and made our way back to our chaises before we reluctantly returned to the yacht.

ritz carlton cruise review

The yacht’s daily bulletin suggested a couple of nearby destinations and restaurants and The Shore Collection offered excursions to Savi Beach or a snorkeling adventure (these are booked way in advance and most excursions were fully booked). The Marina was also open to guests wanting to snorkel, paddle board or use any of the other toys available off the back of the yacht. We opted to take the day as it came and took a tender ashore, wandered down the beach ending up at the Elvis Beach Bar. We ordered ice cold beer, a couple of tequila shots and scored a couple of chaise lounges on the beach where we were happy to stay put for a couple of hours.

But instead of having an open loft layout, they look like two separate cabins on Decks 4 and 5 that are connected by a narrow staircase (and each level has its own entrance).

First look at Ritz-Carlton's new cruise ship cabins

Get the latest travel tips, crucial news, flight & hotel deal alerts... You’ll first need to redeem 180,000 Marriott Bonvoy points for $1,000 savings on the cruise fare. Points don’t cover the cost of taxes, fees, and port charges. No there aren’t casinos on any The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection ships.

I like how it wasn’t crowded and you had different restaurants to go to. Thanks for all the tips at the end about booking with an agent and stuff. I really like your travel posts, pictures and little details. Your wit about other passengers dealing with the inhumane 11pm suitcase in hallway practice, funny!

Prothero explained that this unique layout was because the ship couldn't have balconies on Deck 4. So on these cabins, they compensated by having the balcony and living room area on Deck 5, while the bedroom and bathroom are located on Deck 4. While the Owner's suites are Evrima's most impressive cabins, the 2-Story Loft Suites stood out as the most unusual.

Taalat Nam, which has just 80 covers, does Asian fusion that’s easily as good as anything you’d find ashore. We ate in here and the sushi, the satay, the mango salad, beef rendang, and noodles were perfection. Al fresco Mistral does classy, casual Mediterranean-inspired lunches and dinners, with almost all seafood locally sourced. Not even a buffet-like setup with a euphemistic name like "marketplace".

Elegant yet laidback, the Living Room is not a hotbed of cruise activity but instead a place to relax and enjoy the journey. The Living Room also sets the tone for the ship's interior aesthetic. Wood tones and soft colors dominate, and the décor is modern and tasteful if somewhat minimalistic. Here are our thoughts -- and those of our members who have been sailing. The seaport is managed by Autoridad Portuaria de Santa Cruz de Tenerife (port authority company).

The terrace is also on the upper level, at 76 square feet, and downstairs features a panoramic picture window for sea views. But inside, the space distribution has the familiar feel of a cruise ship. While it's true that Evrima purposely lacks some of the standard amenities present on cruise ships -- like a casino, a theater, a buffet restaurant or a centerpiece pool deck -- the yacht does manage other spaces in a more traditional fashion.

One of cruise port's busiest days was September 26, 1993, when over 45,000 tourists came to Michael Jackson‘s concert (part of the "Dangerous World Tour"). The port has capacity to accommodate the world’s largest passenger ships of Royal Caribbean's Oasis-class (LOA length 362 m, max capacity 6780 passengers plus 2400 crew). Port Santa Cruz de Tenerife cruise ship schedule shows timetable calendars of all arrival and departure dates by month.

Launched in late 2022 after several years of planning and 14 months of delays, it’s a mega-yachting experience that feels more focused on connections with the destination and the people around you—guests and staff alike. Marriott Rewards members can earn points and elite night credits and receive elite benefits on The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Evrima. Members can also redeem points for free nights at The Ritz-Carlton hotels.

The infinity pool (aft on Deck 5) is also used for exercising (resistance swimming). Glass doors open to a sweeping staircase leading to Lido Deck and the infinity pool (on the stern, with a glass wall facing the ship's wake). The 300-passenger ship Evrima was designed by Tillberg Design (Sweden) as a "mega-yacht - cruise ship" hybrid. The custom-built superyacht was even dubbed "anti-cruise ship". On June 22, 2017, the 5-star hotel brand Ritz-Carlton announced its privately-owned cruise line brand, with a planned start in 2019.

The Best Disney Cruise Lanyard for All Your Future Cruises 2023

disney cruise lanyard

I also saw quite a few people (ok, just women) wear this cute Mickey-shaped neck pouch. Plus, there is an extra slot for another card or money and a zipper pouch for coins. This could serve double duty if you are headed to the parks in addition to a cruise.

With so many activities and experiences to enjoy on board, having a convenient way to carry your essentials can make all the difference in ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable trip. A Disney lanyard can also serve as a souvenir from a Disney vacation, reminding the wearer of the magical memories made during their trip. However, using a lanyard can make it easier to keep track of important items such as your room key and cash.

Cash and cards

A Disney Cruise lanyard is an essential accessory for any guest embarking on a magical journey at sea. While the ships are working on transitioning to a DisneyBand+ system, most still give passengers a keycard to use as a room key and onboard charge card. In conclusion, bringing a lanyard on a Disney cruise is an excellent idea for several reasons. Not only can it help keep important items like your room key and ID easily accessible, but it also serves as a fun souvenir to remember your magical vacation. These lanyards are not only adorable, but they’re also practical, with the extendable card holders allowing you to easily access your room key, identification, credit cards, and more. In most cases, the purchases you make on the ship will be charged to the credit card you have on file.

Recap: Why We Love Our Disney Cruise Lanyard Set

Your stateroom door will show a map of the ship along with the best way to get to your muster station. You will notice on the Key to the World card pictured above that our muster station was P. This information is followed by the name of the ship on which you are sailing. This card was gold because we sailed in the Concierge level for this trip. When you arrive at the Disney Cruise Line terminal on the first day of your cruise, also known as embarkation day, you will go through security just like you would at the airport. According to Disney Cruise Line, Pearl is a valued treasure that takes time and care to take shape.

It’s less expensive to purchase one ahead of your cruise, although the cruise ship shops do carry them. Examples would be the FlowRider surf simulator or iFly skydiving simulators with Royal Caribbean, or the Bolt roller coaster at sea on Carnival. Anything where a lanyard may be considered a hazard, you’ll be asked to remove it and tuck it into a bag or your pocket. The only downside to a lanyard is that you might not be able to wear one during some activities of your cruise. Anything that is particularly active might mean that you have to take the lanyard off. A lot of people like to wear a lanyard – if you’ve been on a cruise, you’ve probably spotted a lot of lanyard-wearers walking around the decks.

#2 Disney Cruise Lanyard

Pack comfortable clothes and shoes, something to swim in, and necessary identification and funds, and the rest is just gravy. You can always wash clothes on board — or even visit a shop on board or in port for forgotten essentials. The Disney Visa is another popular credit card to consider if you are sailing with Disney Cruise Line.

In last week’s announcement of the cruise line’s 25th anniversary plans it was stated Pearl members will unlock new at-home and onboard benefits, which will be announced in early 2023. It's not only fun to have a decorated door, but it can also help your kids (and you!) easily spot your door while you're still getting used to the ship. Your Disney Cruise will likely have a themed night, though the theme will depend on where you're sailing. It's always a good idea to have a passport when you cruise, even if it isn't required. You never know if there will be an unexpected situation or emergency causing you to debark your ship early and fly home from a foreign country.

How to Activate Your Disney Key to the World Card

They create the perfect spots to hang your keycards, hats, light jackets, bags and/or swimsuits. If you're sailing on one of Disney's Marvel, Pixar or other themed cruises, you may want to pack costumes or outfits to represent your favorite superheroes or movie characters. Halloween costumes are a must on Halloween on the High Seas cruises, and holiday apparel won't go amiss on Very Merrytime cruises around the holidays. On a Disney cruise, you’ll get a free lanyard once you’re a member of the Castaway Club loyalty program – basically, from your second cruise onwards. The lanyards are coloured silver, gold and platinum to reflect your level in the Castaway Club.

So while not necessary, a lanyard can be both practical and fun for kids on a Disney cruise. Additionally, many kids enjoy collecting and trading Disney pins, which can easily be displayed and shown off on a lanyard. When purchasing a lanyard for a cruise, there are a few key things to consider. First and foremost, make sure the lanyard is made of durable materials that can withstand the wear and tear of travel.

If that’s you, then yes, your child should have a lanyard so they can go back to the room. Usually, it’s a card, although it can be different – on Princess Cruises you get a medallion. Check out our custom itineraries to help you fully experience the magic of Disney. Plus, it can be used at the parks for water rides and to show off your beloved Disney collectible pins. It’s also a good idea to choose a lanyard with an adjustable length so you can customize it to fit comfortably around your neck or wrist.

There is no guaranteed way to get a free lanyard on a Carnival cruise. Some guests have had success asking for one from the casino, but normally you’ll be told that you can only buy them from the gift store on the ship. Another reason to wear a lanyard on a Disney cruise – whether it’s a Disney one or a Cruise Necessities one – is pin trading. Wearing a Disney lanyard isn’t essential, so if you don’t want to show off your Castaway Club status, you can just wear any lanyard you choose. Most cruise lines give kids under 12 a wristband to wear, so that if there’s an emergency, they crew members can take them to the correct muster station to meet their parents. The lanyard makes it easy to keep these important items accessible and prevents them from getting lost.

By sticking your Key to the World card in your lanyard (we also put our IDs in our lanyard), we were able to leave cumbersome purses and wallets in our stateroom. A trip on Disney Cruise Line is all about exploring, fun, and relaxation. Disney does all the work for you so that you can enjoy all of the activities on the ship and the adventures at ports of call. With that in mind, there’s one simple item we found that makes a trip much, much easier – lanyards. What I like the most about this choice is that not only will it hold your Key to the World card, but it has a small zipper pocket as well for cash. The Key to the World card will also slide out of the pocket for it easily vs the standard lanyard, which has to be taken out of the plastic pouch (which sticks to the card).

So, you will have completely different menu options even if you eat in the same dining room. After your first cruise with Disney Cruise Line, you automatically become a silver Castaway Club member. If you are in the Castaway Club, your member number will be printed on your Key to the World Card as well. On the line underneath where the ship’s name is printed, you will find your full name followed by your Castaway Club level. Here’s what you need to know about using your Key to the World card on your next Disney cruise.

Kids need their cruise card if they’re ordering their own soft drinks. When you’re on a cruise, it’s important to keep your cruise card safe with you at all times. In conclusion, the best Disney cruise lanyard is one that not only holds your important items like room keys and park tickets but also has dry pockets with touch screens for your phone.

Deep sea fishing

Welcome to Amber Cove, Carnival’s very own exclusive port in the heart of the Dominican Republic! Since then, countless ships have sailed through the Bay of Maimon— a short distance to the northwest from Puerto Plata— and entered Amber Cove’s world of relaxation, adventure and fun. All cruise lines calling at La Romana offer many and diverse shore excursions in La Romana. These include many different combos, and you may enjoy distinct experiences and attractions on the same cruise excursion. It is advisable to look into the excursions cruise lines offer before deciding what to do on a cruise to La Romana.

Travel advise

This 5-hour tour includes transport aboard an air-conditioned bus with a local guide who will introduce you to the history and highlights of Puerto Plata. After seeing the Cathedral and Renovation Library, lunch and snacks are offered at Casa 40, an artists’ haven. The 34-foot Trojan boats carry 10 passengers each, and the 4-hour fishing trip includes bait and lines. The experienced crew know the best places to troll for Mahi, wahoo, sailfish and blue marlin, and they sail up to 6 miles offshore.

Puerto Plata is home to the first fort built by European settlers in the New World. Are you sailing with little ones (about five years or younger)? If so, then there is a splash area designed for smaller kids.

You’ll cross the river to reach the famous waterfalls of Damajagua, where you can enjoy sliding into the pool beneath one of several beautiful mountain waterfalls. If you’re into sightseeing or soaking up local culture, Amber Cove and Puerto Plata are sure to deliver. Get ready for a Jurassic dive into history at the Amber Museum, or sip your way through the Brugal Rum factory. The historic downtown and main plaza are great places to take a stroll, as is the Malecon— a three-mile long open air boardwalk overlooking the ocean. History buffs can’t miss Fort San Felipe, while nature-lovers can check out Damajagua Falls or the nearby beach towns of Sousa and Cabarete (great for catching some windsurfing and kiteboarding action). To get a bird’s-eye view of all things Amber Cove, head to the Sky Bar.

Where is Amber Cove, the port and where cruise ships dock

Food and drinks are not included free at Amber Cove, and even those with an unlimited drinks package will have to pay for drinks at all the bars and restaurants while ashore. Perched on the hillside overlooking the whole of Amber cove, the Sky Bar offers a full range of refreshing drinks and snacks with panoramic views. The only way you can visit Amber Cove is by booking a cruise that includes Amber Cove, Dominican Republic, as a port of call on the itinerary. It is exclusively used by Carnival Cruise Line and its sister cruise companies, including Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn and Costa Cruises. Welcome to Amber Cove, Dominican Republic, in the eastern Caribbean. Carnival’s private resort destination is located on the bay of Maimón, 7 miles northwest of Puerto Plata, on the eastern half of the island of Hispaniola.

There are no towels available in the port, so if you forget yours, then you’ll have to air-dry. You can think of Amber Cove much like a private island, only it is still part of the mainland. But here you’ll find all kinds of amenities for cruise passengers, from a pool area to shopping to restaurants.

If you’re looking for the most privacy you can buy in the closest proximity to the ship, check out the ocean cabanas and grand cabanas. Similar to the Waterfalls Adventure but without the Buggy Tour, this more strenuous 4-hour trip includes a 40-minute hike and swim in the waterfalls of Damajagua. The tour price is per vehicle, which can carry up to two riders.

You can see a list of the charges in the “Price List” section above. Before you visit, there are definitely some things to know about the port that will make your trip go smoother. However, the real attractions for the slightly older kids and the young at heart are the waterslides and the zip line. The big, enclosed, twisting water slides are impossible to miss once you enter the pool area, though their entrance might be tricky to find for some. While drink prices were pretty reasonable around $8 per cocktail, the food was overpriced, with a burger costing ~$17. Almost immediately, it became one of my favorite ports of call in the Caribbean, a short distance from Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Port Canaveral.

To the left are a number of restaurants, shops, and the way to exit the port and grab a taxi. To the right is the “Aqua Zone” that’s complete with a huge pool, waterslide, cabanas, and much more (more on this below). Amber Cove is a port with a considerable diversity of attractions.

Whatever your vacation style — couple, family, big group — cruises to La Romana give you the chance to play on some of the Caribbean’s most beautiful beaches and lush terrain. This captivating slice of Dominican Republic tropics is found on the island’s southeast coast, and your Carnival cruise to La Romana takes you right there. Comb the cobblestone streets of a re-created medieval village, hunt for craft treasures, and soak in the pampered luxury of Casa de Campo, the 7,000-acre resort conveniently located next door. It’s this mix of culture, shopping and fun in the sun that makes cruises to the Dominican Republic — not to mention La Romana — some of the best bets in the Caribbean. I recently had a chance to tour Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic.

And while it is a jumping off point for seeing Puerto Plata, the truth is that you could spend all day inside the port area if you wanted and have plenty of fun. At the base of the hill from which the zip line runs, you’ll notice a VIP area with cabanas around the main pool. These poolside cabanas come with exclusive access to one roped-off side of the pool as well as one side of the swim-up pool bar. They’re sold as a Carnival shore excursions at $309.99 per cabana, accommodating up to 8 guests each. In addition to the country's breathtaking beaches, there are many fun activities to do near popular cruise ports in the Dominican Republic. Amber Cove is a private 30-acre port destination located at Maimón in the province of Puerto Plata.

carnival cruise dominican republic

The entrance can be a little hidden, but it’s along the back of the port area and up a hill. You’ll be able to see the slides from the pool — just head over to figure out where to go. There is a 230 pound weight limit, and you must be at least 4 feet tall to ride. Along the private dock, there’s also a private over-the-water bar and restaurant that was nearly empty the entire day, meaning you don’t have to wait to get service there like at the main pool. The largest of the three pools centers around the popular swim-up pool bar. Even as the only ship in port, this is the spot where the crowds became overwhelming, and people were waiting 15+ minutes for a drink.

Anyone looking to lounge out under the sun and cool off in the pool can skip the excursions in Amber Cove. When you first arrive at the port and walk through the duty-free shop, a cobblestone path to the right takes you to a resort-style pool, bar, and activity area. Once the ship docks at the Amber Cove Cruise Center, it’s only a five-minute leisurely walk into all the hustle and bustle of the shopping, restaurants, pools, and activities. Some of the major cruise lines that sail to the Dominican Republic include Carnival, Princess, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) and Holland America Line (HAL). Prices per person depend on several factors, such as the length of your trip, the month you travel in and each line's included perks.

Visiting Liberty Island is one of the most rewarding experiences of any trip to New York City. The National Park Service has implemented a reservation system for over a decade. This is very different from how past generations once accessed the Statue of Liberty.

Be sure to pack comfortable clothing -- and especially shoes -- for long days of sightseeing. However, Europeans tend to dress with a bit of panache; to fit in, pack a stylish scarf or hat, and maybe leave your lanyards and socks and sandals at home.
